Installation Procedure
1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Important: When installing the mountings, position the
opened mountings forward.

40–50 NSm
2. Install the stabilizer shaft to the vehicle.
D Install the castellated nut.
Tighten
Tighten the stabilizer shaft–to–body castellated nut to
40–50 NSm (30–36 lb-ft).
D Install the cotter pin.

3. Install the front under longitudinal frame.
D Install the stabilizer shaft mounting bolts (1).
Tighten
Tighten the mounting bolts to 30–50 NSm (22–36 lb-
ft).

65 – 80 NSm
10 – 14 NSm
D Install the front under longitudinal frame bolt (2).
Tighten
Tighten to bolt to 10–14 NSm (89–124 lb-in).
D Install the front under longitudinal frame nut (3).
Tighten
Tighten to nut to 65–80 NSm (48–59 lb-ft).
