Reading Measurement Signal Level Monitor (IMON & VMON) Results
This application program reads measurement data in ASCII format using data
buffer.
The program of Example 9-13 is described in detail below. Each explanation
below is inserted as a comment line in the program. For details on the VISA
functions, refer to the I/O Library Suite manual.
Configuration Define Variables and initialize the program.
Open Instrument Assigns a USB address or GPIB address to the I/O bus.
Setup Start Presets the E4981A. Sets the trigger conditions of the
E4981A.
Measurement Reads the measurement signal level monitor values (IMON
and VMON) and then display the values.
Setup End Closes the I/O bus.
ErrorProc Displays an error number when an error occurs.
ErrorCheck A subroutine to check whether an error occurs when the IO
Library Suite function is executed.
SelectMode A subroutine to change assignment of the I/O bus and
address setting according to the connection type i.e. USB
or GPIB between the E4981A and a PC.
