Assembly
Fit the transmission assembly and the transfer box in reverse
order to dismantling, noting the specified torque for the
complementary tasks as well as the observations.
• Apply a recommended grease film to main shaft end and
grooving.
Torque for fixing nuts - clutch case to flywheel case:
4,5 ÷ 5,5 Kg-m (45 ÷ 55 Nm)
Torque for fixing screws - clutch case to flywheel case:
4 ÷ 6 Kg-m (40 ÷ 60 Nm)
NOTE:
Check that transmission silentblock holding plates are
in good condition; if not, replace them with new ones.
Torque for gear box holding plates:
7 ÷ 10 Kg-m (70 ÷ 100 Nm)
Torque for silentblock fixing screws:
7 ÷ 10 Kg-m (70 ÷ 100 Nm)
• Fix wiring with rolled clamps and connect the electric
couplers.
Torque for propeller shafts flange fixing nuts:
2,8 ÷ 3,5 Kg-m (28 ÷ 35 Nm)
Torque for propeller shafts constant velocity joint fixing
screws:
3 ÷ 4 Kg-m (30 ÷ 40 Nm)
• Purge the clutch liquid (see 7C-5)
• If the oil has been emptied from the transmission and
transfer box, refill to the correct level (see 0B-15 y 0B-16)
• Check everything is working correctly and that there is no
leakage.
