Remove/Replace Flow Meter

Procedure Use the following to remove or replace the flow meter mounted pipe:
1. Ensure machine operation is shut down and upper and lower spray bar flow
control ball valves are turned to the full closed position.
2. Unscrew and release the quick release clamps at each end of the pipe where
the flow meter is to be installed.
3. Remove the section of pipe.
4. Remove the Teflon® gaskets from each end of the pipe. These can be set
aside for emergency replacement purposes.
5. Place the new Teflon® gaskets from the flow meter kit at each end of the
flow meter mounted pipe.
6. Insert the flow meter mounted pipe in place of the previously removed
straight pipe.
7. Turn the flow meter so the display and adjusting arrows are easily accessible
and visible.
8. Replace the quick release clamps to each end of the pipe and tighten down.
9. Turn upper and lower spray bar flow control ball valves to the full open posi-
tion.
