Regenerative Resistor
terminals
Ä
Chap. 5.4.6 ‘Wiring Regenerative Resis-
tors’ page 103
n For SGD7S-R70A, -R90A, -1R6A, and
-2R8A
If the regenerative capacity is insuffi-
cient, connect an External Regenera-
tive Resistor between B1/ and B2.
The External Regenerative Resistor is
not included. Obtain it separately.
n For SGD7S-3R8A,- 5R5A, -7R6A,
-120A, -180A, -200A, and -330A
If the internal regenerative resistor is
insufficient, remove the lead or short
bar between B2 and B3 and connect
an External Regenerative Resistor
between B1/ and B2.
The External Regenerative Resistor is
not included. Obtain it separately.
n For SGD7S-470A, -550A, -590A, and
-780A
Connect a Regenerative Resistor Unit
between B1/ and B2. Obtain a
Regenerative Resistor Unit separately.
These models do not have a B3 ter-
minal.

DC Reactor terminals for
power supply harmonic
suppression
Ä
Chap. 5.4.7 ‘Wiring Reactors for Har-
monic Suppression’ page 106
These terminals are used to connect a DC
Reactor for power supply harmonic sup-
pression or power factor improvement.
- None. (Do not connect anything to this ter-
minal.)
