Removing the axis-1 gearbox
These procedures describe how to remove the gearbox.
Follow the order of the separate procedures according to the order they are
presented.
Preparations
NoteAction
This is done to achieve the best stability
of the complete arm system when it is
resting by itself after it has been removed.
Remove tools and other equipment fitted on
the robot.

Begin draining the axis-1 gearbox.2
The posiition of axis-1 is needed. Other-
wise it will not be possible to remove the
mechanical stop pin.

Jog the robot into position:
axis 1 = -5º
axis 2 = +10º

DANGER
Turn off all:
electric power supply
hydraulic pressure supply
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot work-
ing area.
