AE Title
AE Title is a common abbreviation for the DICOM term Application Entity. The
DICOM Application Entity identifies this software application on a DICOM network.
The Application Entity is usually assigned by the network administrator.
At this time, input your AE title for the CAPTUS
®
4000e in the AE box. This
information can be obtained from the Site Survey you completed when the unit was
purchased. Please note that you will need to assign the CAPTUS
®
4000e a static IP
address that will be recognized by both the WORKLIST SERVER and the DICOM
SERVER. Static IP addresses are assigned under the computers network
configuration.
Note: Any combination of up to 65 alphanumeric characters can be used for the AE
Title.
Text Color
The black and white text option allows the background and text of the report to be
changed from black text with white background or white text with black background.
Display Patient
This allows the user to select if the patient is displayed or not.
Study Date
The Study Date allows the user to set different methods for the study date to be
collected from the Captus or Worklist information.
Institution Information
This allows the user to enter information about their institution and department. The
information is placed in the DICOM header. It is not placed in the DICOM images.
Note: Any combination of up to 65 alphanumeric characters can be used for the
Institution Name, Institution Address and Department Name.
Select the Cancel button to cancel the changes and return to Figure 17-4 DICOM Setup
Window or select the Save button to save the changes, Figure 17-4 will appear.
