2) Inspect the assembly for the following (see Figure 16-3):
a. Excessive play between the Spring Arm shaft (6) and the Collimator Block (1),
b. Excessive play between the Collimator pin (3) and Collimator Block (1) and
bushing,
c. Cable (4) damage,
d. Loose Snap Ring (2), and
e. Loose Pin Retention Plate (5).
If any of these conditions exist, stop use immediately and contact Capintec’s only Authorized
Service Center for information on replacement items, instructions or on-site service.

Spring-Arm Inspection
Note: Before inspection, loosen the Spring-Arm Positioning Handle (rotate counter-
clockwise) located on the side of the Spring-Arm until the Spring-Arm moves up and
down freely.
