5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each remaining setup (Wipe Test Groups, and Bioassay).
6. Select the Exit button or press Alt+E to close the Startup Tips window.
Note: If you do not want the Startup Tips window to appear the next time CAPTUS
®
4000e software is started, click in the check box “Do Not Show This Screen
Again” at the bottom of the window after all setups have been completed.
It is recommended that this selection remain unchecked, otherwise it will be
displayed every time the program is started.

To run the CAPTUS
®
4000e software, double-click on the CAPTUS
®
4000e icon. If the
Startup Tips window was disabled, the Main screen will appear as shown in Figure 4-13 Main
Screen. Before beginning any measurements, allow the system to warm up at least 30
minutes.
Note: It is recommended that the system remain powered on with the CAPTUS
®
4000e
program running because the MCA is powered whenever the CAPTUS
®
4000e
software is running.
