Note: This is an Optional Module which must be purchased in addition to the CAPTUS

4000e system. The DICOM buttons will be displayed on the Setup, Thyroid Uptake
Quality Assurance and Wipe Test screens after the Cap-DICOM software is installed
on the system.
INTRODUCTION
The Cap-DICOM module on the CAPTUS
®
4000e allows you to pull over patient information
for Thyroid uptakes from the Hospital/Radiology Worklist server and then send the completed
report to the DICOM server. In addition, Quality Control data and Wipe Test data can also be
exported to the DICOM server.
CONFIGURING CAP-DICOM
License Information
The DICOM software module requires a license to function. If you have purchased
DICOM with the system, Capintec will have provided the correct license to input into
the Module Licenses Screen.
From the CAPTUS® 4000e Main screen, select the Setup button. Figure 17-1 Setup
Window will appear.
