INTRODUCTION
The CAPTUS
®
4000e has an extensive reference library of 76 isotopes that contains
information on their half-lives, major energy peaks, and known efficiencies. This information
is used in the identification of isotope peaks in MCA, Wipe Test module, radioactive decay
corrections and measurement of efficiencies. The user may add new isotopes to this list if
required.
To access the Isotopes module, select the Isotopes button or press Alt+I on the CAPTUS
®
4000e Main screen. Figure 6-1 Isotopes Main Screen will appear.
