Enter the Number you wish to store against an Index Number. The number may consist of 16 digits
(maximum).
Enter the Name against the Number. The Name may contain up to 12 alphanumeric characters. All
ASCII characters except < > and “ (double quote) are allowed.
Select the trunk access code TAC, as required. Default: 0.
Click Advance to configure the Email ID and select the Group for the contact.
Enter the Email ID of the contact you wish to store. The Email ID can be a maximum of 64 characters.
You can assign the contact to a Group. Select the desired Group Type from the list. The system clubs
together contacts assigned the same Group. Default: None. For details, see “SMS/Email Group”.
Click Submit.
Follow the same steps as described above to configure another Personal Directory.
Keep a print out of each personal directory for your record and for the record of the extension user. This
will also help you take care of overlaps and include some of the numbers that are dialed by all users in the
Global Directory instead of the Personal Directory.
Assigning Personal Directories to Extensions
After you have configured the Personal Directories, assign a personal directory to each extension. The extension
may be a SLT or SIP extension.
To assign Personal Directory to SLT extensions,
Under Basic Settings, click SLT Extensions.
Click the More ... link to expand options.
