Basic Settings
Basic Settings help you with the basic configuration of the system in easy steps. The Basic Settings break down the
complexities of configuration and cover as much as 80 percent of all your basic installation and configuration
requirements.
The country-specific default values assigned to the parameters in Basic Settings are sufficient to set your system in
operation. You may need to change the settings of only those parameters that are peculiar to your installation
requirement.
To configure Basic Settings,
• Open Jeeves. See “System Configuration using the Web-based GUI” for instructions.
The Login page will open.
• Login as System Engineer.
On successful login, you reach the Home page. The Basic Settings, Advanced Settings, Maintenance
and Status links appear on the left pane.
