To initial a re-authentication request immediately on 802.1X enable ports.
Command
dot1x re-authenticate [interface <interface-type>
<interface-id>]
Syntax Description
interface
interface-type
interface-id
Specify the interface to send re-authentication request.
Interface-type including Fa (Fast Ethernet) or Gi (Gigabit
Ethernet).
Interface-id is slot/port number.
Command Modes
Privileged EXEC Mode
User Guidelines
System will initial the re-authentication to all 802.1X enable ports when executing
this command without a port parameter.
