The log information is removed from the log file table, and the device is updated.

. The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands you use to
remove log information.
Log File
The Log File contains information about specific log entries, including the time the log was entered, the
log severity, and a description of the log.
To display the Log File, click System
→
Logs
→
Log File in the tree view.

Log Index
— The Log Number within the
Log File Table

Severity
— The log severity.

Log Time
— The time at which the log was entered in the
Log File Table

Component
— The component being logged.

show logging Displays the state of logging and the syslog messages stored in the
