procedure 4.32 on page 4-90). If this solves the problem,

4. Rotate the right-hand mattress tilt mechanism knob (B) clockwise
until it stops. The mattress tray (A) is level.

5. Rotate the left-hand mattress tilt mechanism knob (B) clockwise.
The left end of the mattress tray (A) is at a 12 angle.
