10.5 Functions of Major Components
This section explains the major functional parts composing this device, giving an illustration. The
component configuration is divided into eight blocks to hold the relation with the parts list.
10.5.1 Paper Cassette
10.5.1.1 Major Functions [Paper Cassette]
- The paper cassette is used to accommodate and feed general papers.
There is the following one types of paper cassettes.
1. MULTI PURPOSE CASSETTE
The PAPER CASSETTE matches the paper size by adjusting the GUIDE END for A4 (height) or
less or A4 (width) paper. For A4 (height) or more paper, the paper size is matched by adjusting the
GUIDE SIDE on the left and right.
The matched paper size in the PAPER CASSETTE is transmitted to the device by rotating the
WHEEL SIZE and fitting the size of the set paper to the indicator.
