2.3.6 Preventive Maintenance
Perform the preventive maintenance to prevent faults from being caused when visiting a customer.
- Preventive maintenance procedure
1) Ask the customer for the use status of the device.
2) Record the accumulated number of printed papers.
NOTE
Determine whether the periodically-replaced parts are to be replaced with the
number of printed papers.
Replace the periodically-replaced parts as required.
3) Print out a few papers and confirm that no error occurs.
4) Eliminate foreign objects in the PLATE DT SAW, paper transport route, paper transport roll, and
so on. Then clean the dirty parts with a brush or dry cloth.
NOTE
When there are too dirty parts, clean them with a wet cloth, then wipe off with a dry
cloth. In this case, take care that the parts are not damaged.
5) Cleaning of air exit in fan.
Remove the COVER STACK and clean dusts on the CHASSIS BASE with a brush.
NOTE
If the air exit is choked, the internal temperature rises and a fault results.
6) Print a few papers again, and confirm that no error occurs.
