2.4 How to use PC Diag.

2.4.1.2 Connection
1) Remove the COVER ASSY STACK. (See REP 1.7)
2) Remove the COVER ASSY CONTROLLER. (See REP 9.5)
3) Disconnect the PWBA MCU-sided connector of the flat cable connected to the PWBA MCU
XFABK(B) and ESS PWB.
4) Hung the hook of DIAG I/F BOARD to the frame as shown in illustration.
5) Connect the PC to the DIAG I/F BOARD with a parallel cable.
2.4.1.3 Activating
1) Execute the set up (Setup.exe) of diagnostic tool from the CD-ROM.
2) Double-click the Diag, the “Diagnostic and Software” is activated.
The device is then placed into the power-on ready state.
3) Turn the device power on.
CAUTION
In case of Windows2000 or XP, install software by the privilege of
Administrators.
