The iTN2100-EOT-GESTM4 is EOPOS and EOS protocol converter card on the
iTN2100.
Support EOPOS and EOS. You can configure parameters for each channel
independently.
You can configure four STM interfaces on the front panel to STM1 or the first STM
interface to STM4 (in this case, other interfaces becomes invalid).
EOPOS encapsulation supports GFP.
EOS channels support N×VC12, N×VC3, and N×VC4.
Support 252 VCGs at most, with members as below:
EOP supports 16×E1.
EOS supports 64×VC12, 12×VC3, and 4×VC4.
Support flow classification based on VLAN tags. The maximum number of flows is 4k.
Support Ethernet flow control.
Support QinQ.
Support DDM of SFP modules.
Support SDH overhead processing, statistics of alarms and performance.
Support configurable SDH clock source: local clock, line clock, system TDM clock, or
system Ethernet clock.
Support SDH clock drifting, with jitter complying with ITU-T standards.
Support VC4/VC3/VC12 1+1 channel protection of SDH on the card.
Support Automatical Switchover Protection (ASP) of the two switching cards on the
iTN2100.
Support inband remote management of EOP and EOS devices.
Support hot swapping.
Support SDH interface protection between 2 cards. However, the 2 cards must be
inserted into specified slots : slots 2 and 4 or slots 3 and 5.
Support accessing the SDH network through the aggregation card. However, the card
must be inserted into slot 2 or slot 4 of the iTN2100.
