This chapter describes the intelligent fan of the iTN2100, which is named FANS360. The
FANS360 is 19 inch wide and 1 U high. It has four feet through which it is fixed on the upper
part of the iTN2100. This chapter includes the following sections:

3.1 Functions
The FANS360 has the following functions:

Embed with three fans.

Adopt dual slower power-on scheme (powering on both the fan and circuit slowly),
which enhances the system stability upon hot swapping.

Support 8-level revolving speed.

Support fault alarms, including fan stopping and revolving speed deterioration due to
aging.

Support intelligent speed adjustment, through which the iTN2100 can adjust revolving
speed automatically according to current temperature inside the chassis.

Support manual configuration of revolving speed for the fan.

Support speed feedback.

Support hot swapping.
3.2 Appearance
The FANS360 is installed in the upper part of the iTN2100.
Figure 3-1 and Figure 3-2 show the appearance of the FANS360.
