18.1 OPCOM3500E-DXC-DS0
18.1.1 Appearance and functions
Appearance
Function
The OPCOM3500E-DXC-DS0 is a 64K cross connection card on the iTN2100.
Support cross connection and multiplexing of 1536×1536 64K services (namely, 48×48
ways of E1 signals).
Support no service interface. 64K services can be transmitted through other service
cards.
E1 supports framed and unframed modes. In framed mode, the card can work in PCM30
or PCM21 mode. In PCM30 mode, it supports cross connection of voice signaling.
Support three clock modes: local clock, system clock, and E1 clock. If the card works in
slave clock mode, you can choose any E1 among 48 ways of E1 signals to recover
clock.
Support outer loopback on the E1 interface. You can perform loopback on E1 signals
from other service cards.
The iTN2100 can be plugged into with multiple 64K cross connection cards. Any two of
them support card-level hot backup.
Manage the remote device through the Sa bit in framed E1 or independent timeslots.
Support online software upgrade.
Support hot swapping.
18.1.2 Slots
The OPCOM3500E-DXC-DS0 can be plugged into slots 15 and 812 on the iTN2100.
