15.8.1 Appearance and functions
Appearance
Function
The OPCOM3500E-120F8L-GE is a tributary service card used by the iTN2100.
Support accessing 8-way optical signals. Each-way signals support up to 4-way E1
services and 1-way 100 Mbit/s Ethernet services.
Map up to 32-way E1 services to SDH signals at the card and then aggregate them
through the aggregation card. Aggregate up to 8-way 100 Mbit/s Ethernet services into
1-way GE services at the card and then output them through the GE interface on the
front panel or transmitted to the switching card through the backplane.
Provide 8 multiplexing optical interfaces and 1 GE interface.
Support complete alarm indication feature. Local alarms and remote alarms are
displayed simultaneously.
Support cooperating with the dual switching card protection.
Support managing Raisecom RCMS29xx family Ethernet multiplexer and RC86x
optical transmitter&receiver remotely.
Provide 1+1 extra-card protection of E1 services on RCMS2911 family devices.
Support E1 local internal loopback, E1 local external loopback, and E1 local
bidirectional loopback.
Support querying local and remote E1 alarms.
Support remote Loss of Power (LPR) indication.
Support ALS.
Support interface isolation protection.
Support link aggregation.
Support QoS, identifying 4 output queues based on the priority.
Support 802.1Q VLAN, 4K concurrent VLANs, and Double Tag.
Support flow control.
Support bandwidth monitoring of internal switching interfaces, such as real-time traffic
statistics.
Support enabling or disabling MAC address learning based on interface.
Support setting the aging time to 03825s.
Support querying the MAC address table.
Support DDM of the SFP module.
Support storing and querying default configurations.
Support hot swapping.
15.8.2 Slots
The OPCOM3500E-120F8L-GE can be plugged into slots 15 and 812 on the iTN2100.
