15.10.1 Appearance and functions
Appearance
Function
The OPCOM3500E-120H×4 is a multi-service multiplexing tributary card
on the iTN2100. Now the OPCOM3500E-120H×4 has two versions: A and
B.
Support 4-way PDH optical signal access and each way supports four ways
of E1 services.
Map at most 16 ways of E1 services on the office to the SDH signals.
Provide four ways of PDH optical interfaces.
Support multiplexing of at most 16 ways of E1 signals.
Support complete alarms. Local alarms and remote alarms can be
displayed concurrently.
Support remote NMS for Raisecome's RCMS28XX Ethernet multiplexer
family and RC83XX optical transceiver family. If it is connected to the
RCMS2811, they can implement 1+1 inter-card protection switchover.
Support E1 local and remote loopback.
Support LPR alarms for remote devices.
Support ALS.
Support hot swapping.
Support online software upgrade for local and remote devices (Version B
only).
The left figure is the OPCOM3500E-120×4 panel (version A) and
the right figure is the OPCOM3500E-120H×4 panel (version B).
15.10.2 Slots
The OPCOM3500E-120H×4 (Versions A and B) can be plugged into slots 15 and 812 on
the iTN2100.
