Function
The OPCOM3500E-8V24 is an 8-way V.24 data service card on the iTN2100.

Provide two HDB26 interfaces. Each interface transmits four ways of V.24 data.

Support application in DCE mode.

Support independent configuration of bandwidth for each V24 channel. You can set the
bandwidth to 64 Kbit/s, 128 Kbit/s, or 256 Kbit/s. The V24 channel is fixed to occupy
the 64 Kbit/s timeslot of inner E1.

Support local crystal oscillator, E1-1 recovery clock, or E1-2 recovery clock as clock
source.

Support TX and RX phase adjustment on each V.24 interface independently.

The V.24 data channel supports three loopback modes:

Outer loopback on the V.24 interface side

Inner loopback on the inner E1 side

Outer loopback on the inner E1 side

Support E1 BERT. When you send test codes to the backplane, you can test only one E1
once.

Support hot swapping.
Table 16-1 lists relations between V24 bandwidth and 64 Kbit/s timeslot.
