20.3.1 Appearance and functions
Appearance
Function
The iTN2100-4SU-D is a 4-way dual-fiber CWDM multiplexing/de-multiplexing card. It
can realize bidirectional multiplexing transmission of 4 CWDM wavelength optical
signals in 2 fibers. The iTN2100-4SU-D can efficiently use the bandwidth of the fiber to
prevent laying fibers repeatedly. This helps save costs.

Support multiplexing/de-multiplexing 4 CWDM standard wavelength channels (1511
nm, 1531 nm, 1551 nm, and 1571 nm).

Plug and play. The card is available for services after being inserted into 6-U chassis and
being properly connected with fibers.

Work properly after power off. The internal passive optical module in the card works
properly after the card is powered off. Therefore, ensure that the card realize wavelength
division multiplexing.

Support transmitting services transparently. It can be used to access data services with
any speed and access emulation services such as video service.

Support Raisecom NView NNM system.
20.3.2 Slots
The iTN2100-4SU-D can be plugged into slots 1–5 and 8–12 on the iTN2100.
