20.3.7 Networking applications
Point-to-point networking application
Device A multiplexes optical signals of 4 wavelength channels (1511 nm, 1531 nm, 1551 nm,
and 1571 nm) at the client side and transmits the multiplexed signals to Device B. After
receiving optical signals, Device B de-multiplexes these signals and then sends them out. In
opposite direction, Device B multiplexes optical signals of 4 wavelength channels at the client
side and transmits the multiplexed signals to Device A. After receiving optical signals, Device
A de-multiplexes these signals and then sends them out.
Figure 20-3 shows a point-to-point networking application with the iTN2100-4SU-D.
