Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
dot1x guest-vlan vlan-id <vlan-id (1 - 4096)>
The parameters have the following meaning:
Parameter Description Range of values / note
vlan-id Keyword for the VLAN ID -
- VLAN ID 1 - 4096
Result
The guest VLAN ID is assigned to the port.
Further notes
You reset the guest VLAN ID to the default value with the no dot1x guest-vlan vlan-
idcommand.
You display this setting and other information with the show dot1x command.
11.5.3.4 no dot1x guest-vlan vlan-id
Description
With this command, the guest VLAN ID is reset to the default value 1.
Requirement
You are in the Interface configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-if-$$$)#
Syntax
Call the command without parameters:
no dot1x guest-vlan vlan-id
Result
The ID of the guest VLAN has the value 1.
