Replacing parts
Replacing holding-down jack Replacing holding-down jack:
1. Once work has been carried out on the front needle bed, then positi
on the
needle bed at an angle. This enables the wires to be pulled out more
easily.
2. Loosen screws (1) and (2) on the left and right sides of the jack
bed. Use
th
e special hexagon screwdriver from the accessories for screws (1).
3. Remove the limiter (3) on both
sides.
4. Push all springs (5) of the holding-
down jacks into the rear position (6).
5. Remove screw (7) on left and right-hand sides of jack bed.
6. Pull out completely the wire (4).
7. Carefully push all springs (5) toward the front until no force
is being
applied
any longer to the holding-down jacks.

8. Pull out the wire (10) and (11) up to the point of repair.

9. Remove the spring of the defective holding-down jack.
