Releasing needle bed
Releasing needle bed 1. Transfer all stitches of the needle bed to be removed or positioned
vertically to the other needle bed.
2. When the carriage assembly is in the left reversing position, stop the
machine with
the engaging rod. If a central lubrication is present, the
carriage must be in the left reversing position.
3. Tap the "Rel. drive brake" key in the "Manual interventions" w
indow
and
slide the carriage assembly to the left up to the stop point.
4. With CMS 830 C, CMS 520 C+:
Use the needle bed swivel support (10) (special attachment ID 268
961).
It
prevents the selection jacks from getting damaged when the needle be
d
is positioned at an angle.
On the left and right side of the needle bed, position a needle bed
swivel
support (10) on the cover of the carriage guide bar and push it inward up
to the selection jack bed.
