Step motor for adjusting the stitch tension
A step motor (1) on each knitting system adjusts the stitch tension. The step
motor is controlled by the knitting program.
The stitch tension can be adjusted individually

or individual areas in the fabric which are particularly subject to loading,
e.g. narro
wing edges or pattern motifs
for individual stitch cams
for different yarns (yarn count co
rrection)
During knitting, changes can also be made via the t
ouch screen.
