7.3.14 Removing and mounting step motor
Each knitting system contains a step motor which controls the stitch cam
position.
1. Remove the carriage part.
2. Remove the cam plate.

3. Move defective step motor to home position: Turn the scale (2) until the
pointer (1) is positioned exactly on the zero point (3).
4. Remove the screws (4).
5. Take off the defectiv

motor.
6. Move new step motor to home position: Turn the scale (2) until the point

(1) is positioned exactly on the zero point (3).
NOTICE
Adjusting screws!
If adjusting screws are released, the
step motor must be
readjusted at STOLL.
