3. Fitting
⇒ Insert lip seal 11.
⇒ Lower injection control unit 7 carefully onto the fuel rail and remove lifting plate
94584.
⇒ Apply Never-Seez NSBT-8 to the threads of screws 8 and 8a (Fig. ’A’).
⇒ First tighten screws 8a crosswise with a torque of 110 Nm and subsequently
screws 8 with a torque of 55 Nm.
⇒ Replace O-rings 18, if necessary.
⇒ Apply Never-Seez NSBT-8 to screws 10 and fasten pre-control valve 9 to in-
jection control unit 7 with them.
⇒ Tighten screws 10 with a torque of 2.5 Nm.

D For restarting the injection see instructions 0510−1 in the Operating Manual.
