2. Removal
Remark: Always start removing a fuel pressure pipe by disengaging its upper end.
⇒ Loosen all screws 4 and remove mounting clamps 5 from holders 17 and 17a.
⇒ Loosen screws 6 and 7.
⇒ Push up flange 8 as much as possible.
⇒ Push down flange 8a as much as possible.
⇒ Press intermediate ring 10 together with fuel pressure piping 1 down by
approx. 2 mm and push the the latter sideways towards the engine.
⇒ Remove the intermediate ring together with the fuel pressure piping.
D Pay attention not to damage sealing faces ’DF’.
D All connections must be closed off immediately and the sealing faces must be
protected after removing the fuel pressure pipings.
