3. Fitting
Fitting procedure is analogous to the removal but in reverse sequence.
Before fitting fuel pressure piping 1, check whether their claws 15 are screwed on
properly, i.e. fuel pressure pipe must protrude by ’x’ = 10 mm compared to the claw.
Measurement ’x’ can be adjusted by turning the claw using an open end spanner.
⇒ Apply Never-Seez NSBT-8 to threads and head surfaces of screws 6, 7 (Fig.
’C’) and tighten them crosswise with a torque of 55 Nm.
D Fasten holders as stress-free as possible and equally tighten their screws.
Retighten the holders according to 0380−1.
