14.3 Spanning Tree Configuration
Use the Spanning Tree Configuration screen to activate one of the STP modes on the OLT. Click
Configuration in the Advanced Application > Spanning Tree Protocol.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.
14.4 Configure Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol
Use this screen to configure RSTP settings, see Section 14.1 on page 131 for more information on RSTP.
Click RSTP in the Advanced Application > Spanning Tree Protocol screen.

Mode
You can activate one of the STP modes on the OLT.
Select Rapid Spanning Tree or Multiple Spanning Tree. See Section 14.1 on page 131 for
background information on STP.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes to the OLT’s run-time memory. The OLT loses these changes
if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Save link on the top navigation panel to save your
changes to the non-volatile memory when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh.
