3.3 Power Maintenance
This section describes how to change the power module. The power module has a built-in circuit
breaker. Before you replace a power module, make sure the circuit breaker is not causing the problem.
3.3.1 Procedure to Change a Power Module
The power module slots are at the upper right of the front panel of the chassis. Use the following
procedure to change a power module.
1 Obtain a new OLT power module from the manufacturer.
2 Turn off the power supply.
3 Loosen the power module thumbscrews and remove the power module from the OLT.
4 Remove the green power connector block from the front of the power module.
5 Push the power connector block into the front of the new power module.
6 Slide the power module into the OLT and tighten its thumbscrews.
7 Turn on the power supply.
