Basic Setting
8.1 Overview
This chapter describes how to configure the System Info, General Setup, Switch Setup, IP Setup, and Port
Setup screens.
8.1.1 What You Can Do
• Use the System Info screen (Section 8.2 on page 96) to check the firmware version number. Also, you
can check the hardware status, such as the temperature, fan speed, and power supply voltage of
the OLT.
• Use the General Setup screen (Section 8.3 on page 98) to configure general settings such as the
system name and time.
• Use the Switch Setup screen (Section 8.5 on page 100) to choose your VLAN type, set the GARP timers
and assign priorities to queues.
• Use the IP Setup screen (Section 8.6 on page 102) to configure the OLT IP address, default gateway
device, and the management VLAN ID.
• Use the Port Setup screen (Section 8.7 on page 104) to configure OLT port settings.
8.2 System Information
In the navigation panel, click Basic Setting > System Info to display the screen as shown. Use this screen
to view general system information. You can check the firmware version number. Also, you can check
the hardware status, such as the temperature, fan speed, and power supply voltage of the OLT.
