53.4 MDU Subscriber Port Provisioning Example
Provisioning a subscriber port on an MDU is similar to provisioning a subscriber port on an ONT (See
Section 53.2 on page 405). In this example the MDU is connected to the same PON port so you do not
have to configure the PON port or VLAN settings. You also re-use the QoS ingress profile and bandwidth
profiles. This example configures VDSL port 1 on card 1 in ONT 102 connected to GPON port 1 in slot 6 on
the OLT.
1 Configure the ONT’s provisioning and bandwidth group settings and enable the ONT. See the
description for step 5 on page 408 for details. Differences for this example are ONT 102, serial number
5A59584501111112, and password 44454641554C54000002.
2 Use the remote uniport <aid> command to configure settings on a card type and an ONT’s VDSL
interface.

3 Configure VLAN flow settings for the VDSL port on the remote ONT the same as in step 8 on page 411
except it’s for ONT 102.
