Port Bridge
103.1 Overview
The OLT supports per-port and per-port-per-VLAN port bridge features.
• Per-port port bridge: The ONTs connected to the same PON port can communicate with each other.
• Per-port-per-VLAN port bridge: The ONTs in the a same VLAN on the same PON port can
communicate with each other.
Note: Per-port and per-port-per-VLAN port bridge features cannot work at the same time on
the OLT.
Use the port bridge feature to bridge multiple MAC addresses associated with the same port.
The port bridge feature only works on the PON ports of the OLT.
An ONT that doesn’t support the port bridge feature may not function properly if the port bridge feature
is enabled on the OLT.
