38.1 ONT Template Overview
Configure ONT templates to manage ONT settings. After you create ONT templates, see Chapter 39 on

An ONT template defines the general settings for an ONT, such as DHCP option 82 information, the port
speed, and performance monitoring.
38.1.1 What You Can Do
• Use the ONT Template screen (Section 38.2 on page 302) to configure templates’ settings.
• Use the ONT Bwgroup screen (Section 38.2.1 on page 305) to configure bandwidth group settings for
ONTs.
• Use the Uniport Queue screen (Section 38.2.2 on page 306) to configure QoS queues for the UNI (User
Network Interface) ports.
• Use the Uniport VLAN screen (Section 38.2.3 on page 308) to configure UNI port VLAN flow settings.
• Use the Uniport Multicast screen (Section 38.2.4 on page 310) to configure UNI port multicast
subscriber channels.
• Use the Uniport VoIP screen (Section 38.2.5 on page 312) to configure UNI port VoIP settings.
• Use the ACL ONT screen (Section 38.2.6 on page 313) to assign an identification number to an ACL
profile, and apply an ACL profile to an ONT.
• Use the ACL Profile Setting screen (Section 38.2.6.1 on page 314) to create an ACL profile for an ONT.
• Use the ONT ACL Profile Counter screen (Section 38.2.6.2 on page 317) to display the dropped
packets counters of the selected ACL profile(s) and ONT(s).
38.2 The ONT Template Screen
Use this screen to edit or modify the ONT template configurations. A PON port can have up to 8
