Policy Rule
73.1 Policy Rules Overview
A classifier distinguishes traffic into flows based on the configured criteria (Refer to Chapter 71 on page
507 for more information). A policy rule ensures that a traffic flow gets the requested treatment in the
network.
73.2 Policy Commands
Use these commands to configure policies on the OLT based on the classification of traffic flows. A
classifier distinguishes traffic into flows based on the configured criteria. A policy rule defines the
treatment of a traffic flow.
Note: Configure classifiers before you configure policies. See Chapter 71 on page 507 for
more information on classifiers.
