82.4 DHCP Command Examples
In this example, the OLT relays DHCP requests for the VLAN1 and VLAN2 domains. There is only one DHCP
server for DHCP clients in both domains.
dhcp l2agent opt82-circuit-id vlan
<vlan> option-info <info>
Configures the DHCP L2 Agent option 82 Circuit
ID format on the specified VLAN.
Use this command to have the OLT add the
originating port numbers to DHCP requests in the
specified VLAN.
See Table 311 on page 596 for more information
about the
<info> string.
Note: If the string is composed of more
than 127 characters, the string will be
truncated to the maximum number
of characters allowed when the OLT
transforms the string into the Circuit
ID.

Disables the DHCP L2 Agent option 82 Circuit ID
on the specified VLAN.

dhcp l2agent opt82-remote-id vlan
<vlan> option-info <info>
Configures the DHCP L2 Agent option 82
Remote ID format on the specified VLAN.
Use this command to have the OLT add the
Remote ID to DHCP requests in the specified
VLAN.
