The following table describes the dhcp-vlan commands.
77.5 DHCP Snooping & DHCP VLAN Command Examples
This example:
Enables DHCP snooping OLT.
Sets up an external DHCP snooping database on a network server with IP address 172.16.37.17.
Enables DHCP snooping on VLANs 1,2,3,200 and 300.
Sets the OLT to add the slot number, port number and VLAN ID to DHCP requests that it broadcasts to
the DHCP VLAN.
Sets ports ge-5-1 to ge-5-4 as DHCP snooping trusted ports.
Sets the maximum number of DHCP packets that can be received on ports ge-5-1 to ge-5-4 to 100
packets per second.
Configures a DHCP VLAN with a VLAN ID 300.
dhcp snooping trust
Sets this port as a trusted DHCP snooping port.
Trusted ports are connected to DHCP servers or
other switches, and the OLT discards DHCP
packets from trusted ports only if the rate at
which DHCP packets arrive is too high.

dhcp snooping limit rate <pps>
Sets the maximum rate in packets per second
(pps) that DHCP packets are allowed to arrive
at a trusted DHCP snooping port.

Disables this port from being a trusted port for
DHCP snooping.

Resets the DHCP snooping rate to the default
(0).
