80.2 Loopguard Commands
Use these commands to configure the OLT to guard against loops on the edge of your network. The OLT
shuts down a port if the OLT detects that packets sent out on the port loop back to the OLT.

Displays which ports have loopguard enabled
as well as their status.

Enables loopguard on the OLT. C 13

Disables loopguard on the OLT. C 13
interface port-channel <aid>
Enters config-interface mode for the specified
port(s).
aid: <msc|ge|pon>-<slot>-<port>

Enables the loopguard feature on the port(s).
You have to enable loopguard on the OLT as
well. The OLT shuts down a port if the OLT
detects that packets sent out on the port loop
back to the OLT.

Disables the loopguard feature on the port(s). C 13
no loopguard vlan
Clears the VLAN ID. C 13
loopguard vlan <1~4094>
Specifies the VLAN ID. It’s the VLAN group that
loop guard detection packets will be sent to.

loopguard detection-time <1~120>
Specifies the time interval (from 1 to 120
seconds) at which the OLT sends loop guard
detection packets. A loop guard detection
packet is to detect whether there’s a loop on a
port or not.

Resets the time interval to default (0). C 13

Clears loopguard counters. E 13
