Configures a policy with the specified name.
name: 32 alphanumeric characters

Specifies which classifiers this policy applies to.
classifier-list: names of classifiers
separated by commas.
Specifies the parameters related to the actions:
vlan: a VLAN ID
egress-port: an outbound port number
mirror-port: mirror port number
priority: IEEE 802.1p priority field
dscp: 0-63
tos: 0-7
cir: 64-1000000; see Two Rate Three Color
Marker Traffic Policing for more information.
pir: 64-1000000; see Two Rate Three Color
Marker Traffic Policing for more information.
out-of-profile-dscp: 0-63; this is the
number to replace or remark the DSCP
number for out-of-profile traffic.
Specifies the actions for this policy:
Forward-action: tells the OLT to:
- drop the packets (drop)
- forward the packets (forward)
queue-action: tells the OLT to:
- set the IEEE 802.1p priority you specified in
the priority parameter (prio-set)
- sends the packet to priority queue (prio-
queue)
- replace the IEEE 802.1p priority field with
the tos parameter value (prio-replace-
tos).
diffserv-action: use the DSCP value
configured using [dscp <0-63>].
outgoing-mirror - sends the packet to the
mirror port.
outgoing-eport - sends the packet to the
egress port.
outgoing-profile-action: tells the OLT to:
- Drop the packets (drop).
- forward the packets (forward).
- mark out-of-profile traffic and drop it when
network is congested (set-drop-
precedence).

nables bandwidth limitations
on the traffic flows.
out-of-profile-action - specifies the
actions to take for packets that exceed the
bandwidth limitations:
- discards the out of profile packets (drop).
- queues the packets that are marked for
dropping (forward).
- marks the out of profile traffic and drops it
when network is congested (set-drop-
precedence).
