The following table describes the labels in this screen.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
VID Enter a VLAN ID to which you want to append the Circuit ID and Remote ID.
Option 82
Circuit Id
Enter a string of up to 127 ASCII characters that the OLT adds into the PPPoE discovery packets
for this VLAN. Spaces are allowed.
The string can also consist of the following special characters for GPON Options (dynamic
information). The OLT will get the GPON Options (dynamic information) of the ONT(s) from traffic
on the VLAN.
The special characters listed in the brackets [~`!@#$^&*()] are not allowed except % and space.
• %%: character %
• %space: character space
• %mac: client source mac
• %hname: host device name
• %slotid: slot index of the logic port
• %pid: pon port index
• %oid: ONT index
• %ocid: ONT card index
• %upid: uniport index
• %nnisvlan: SVLAN ID on network-network interface
• %snisvlan: SVLAN ID on service-network interface
Note: If the string is composed of more than 127 characters, the string will be
truncated to the maximum number of characters allowed when the OLT
transforms the string into the Circuit ID.
Option 82
Remote Id
Enter a string of up to 95 ASCII characters that the OLT adds into the PPPoE discovery packets for
this VLAN. Spaces are allowed.
The string can also consist of the following special characters for GPON Options (dynamic
information). The OLT will get the GPON Options (dynamic information) of the ONT(s) from traffic
on the VLAN.
The special characters listed in the brackets [~`!@#$^&*()] are not allowed except % and space.
• %%: character %

• %pid: pon port index
• %oid: ONT index

Add Click Add to append the Circuit ID and Remote ID to PPPoE discovery packets of the VLAN.
Cancel Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh.
Clear Click Clear to reset the fields to the factory defaults.
VID This field displays the VLAN ID.
Option 82
Circuit Id
This field displays the option 82 Circuit ID information that is added in the PPPoE discovery
packets for this VLAN.
