the regular DC power source and connect input 2 to a backup DC power source such as a battery. The
connections are as follows:
1 Loosen the power module thumbscrews and remove the power module from the OLT.
2 Remove the green power connector block from the front of the power module.
3 Connect power wires to the RTN power terminal on the power connector block and tighten the terminal
screw.
4 Connect power wires to the -48 V power terminal on the power connector block and tighten the
terminal screw.
5 Push the power connector block back into the front of the power module.
6 Slide the power module back into the OLT and tighten the power module thumbscrews.
7 Connect the other end of the RTN power wires to the positive terminal on the power supply.
8 Connect the other end of the -48 V power wires to the negative terminal on the power supply.
9 Repeat the previous steps for the second power module.
10 Turn on the power supplies.
