[Fusing]
This step dissolves toner on paper and fixes a toner image on paper by pressure.
- The toner image transferred from the drum is so fine than it is destroyed only by slightly touching it
by fingers. To fix the toner image onto paper, paper is passed through the FUSER ASSY.
Toner is dissolved by the heat of the HEAT ROLL (having the heater rod as the heat source), and
anastomosed onto paper by the clip pressure between the HEAT ROLL and PRESSURE ROLL.
