1-3-7 Dangerous Procedure Warnings
Warnings, such as the examples below, precede potentially dangerous procedures throughout this
manual. Instructions contained in the warnings must be followed.
DANGER
DANGEROUS VOLTAGES, CAPABLE OF CAUSING DEATH, ARE PRESENT IN
THIS EQUIPMENT. USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN HANDLING, TESTING AND
ADJUSTING.
WARNINGWARNING
If the covers are removed from an operating Vivid S5 N or Vivid S6 N system, some
metal surfaces may be warm enough to pose a potential heat hazard if touched, even
while in shut down mode.

Explosion Warning
Do not operate the equipment in an explosive atmosphere. Operation of any electrical
equipment in such an environment constitutes a definite safety hazard.

Do not substitute parts or modify equipment
